The Wild Mull website continues to grow at a fast pace with the 3000th photograph being added in the last few days. These photographs have been kindly provided by more than 30 photographers on Mull, in the UK and across the world. And all added in the last 12 months since Wild Mull was launched.
The 3000th image added was that of Rusty bog-moss (Sphagnum fuscum) taken by David Genney (see right).
There are now almost 100 bird species fully illustrated, close to 300 vascular plants, nearly 150 moth species, 18 butterfly species, six marine mammals and 40 mosses all with images. Approximately 650 species now have photographs thanks to the generosity of the people observing, and photographing, wildlife on Mull.
