If you are keen on seeing the wild animals of Scotland then a trip to the Isle of Mull should be at the top of your list of places to visit.
The Isle of Mull is home to otters, puffins, eagles, dolphins, basking sharks and several species of owl amongst many other species. Many species have their UK stronghold here on the island and because of the diverse array of habitats, the configuration of lochs, mountains, raised beaches and moorland, you will never be that far from seeing many of these species in the wild. There are even wildlife tours that practically guarantee you will see these species while travelling across the island.
